Helaman And His Boys

Those strippling warriors weren't mama's boys, they were boys who listened to their mothers. And they learned to love God, and they had great faith and they were prepared to protect their mothers and fathers and fight for their freedom, and fight on the God's side, to win against the Lamanites. Helaman loved those two thousand men and called them "Sons" and they called him "Father" and we can see how that shadows our own relationship with our Father in Heaven. Helaman sent an epistle to Moroni to outline the successes of the warriors in battle and he attributed their salvation to their faith.
